Snow Day 2010

We had some snow in Atlanta on Friday. Schools were closed and it was great to have an impromptu three day weekend. Sunday morning rolled around and all of the laundry was done, the house was clean and the roads were still a little risky to test….so it was a laid back and totally relaxing Sunday. I took a ton of pictures here are a couple of the girls. I really hope they will be this sweet to each other when they are older. I hope your 2010 is off to a great start. Talk to you soon.

Happy Holidays

Hey there! It has been a world wind tour the past 60 days. A trip to Nags Head, The Gulf and LaGrange twice! Here are a few pictures from the travels. Hagen is getting so big, she is sitting up and almost crawling. We had her Christened in November. It is hard to believe this time last year we were talking about cancer. It looks like Dad is now in the clear!! We hosted both sets of grandparents for Christmas this year. It was so much fun having everyone together. Santa Clause swung by the house and dropped off some goodies. We are looking forward to New Years. Bye Bye 2009!

Asheville 2009

The family just got back from a very relaxing long weekend in Asheville, NC. The Vicks and the Spillmans joined us. This is the first time everyone has come together outside of a family function. Palmer, Jack & Jones had such a good time with each other. The color of the leaves in the mountains this time of year is always so wonderful and we even made it out to pick pumpkins. Here are a few of the pictures we took. XOXO

BabyWise

Can I just say “I love me some baby wise!” http://www.amazon.com/Becoming-Babywise-Giving-Infant-Nighttime/dp/1934384011/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1247255719&sr=8-1 Hagen is now sleeping eight hours a night. So far the book is two for two, both girls started sleeping 8+ hours at around 7 weeks. If you are becoming a parent or know someone who is pick up the book and read it. I hope everyone had a great 4th of July. We took Hagen down to the gulf to meet the rest of the family. We were able to spend some time with Jack (1st cousin). A great time was had by all. Can’t wait to do it all over again in Sept. Here are a few snap shots. XOXOX

Last Weekend as 3

So I just got off of the phone with Christy. It looks like her doctor is going to induce her on either 5/19 or 5/20. That means this is our last weekend as three. I have got to finish “Baby Wise”……gotta go…. Talk to you soon!

Happy Mothers Day

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the Mothers there. I must say Palmer’s mom is pretty awesome. Palmer and I are going to try really hard to make this Mother’s day extra special. Christy had her weekly check up on Monday. It looks like Hagen is already 7lbs. I didn’t realize this but at this stage babies can grow a pound a week. If Christy makes it to her due date that means Hagen could be 9+ pounds (OUCH!!) there is a very good chance the doctors will induce before the due date. We will know more next Monday. The nursery is complete and I will post some pictures very soon. Hope everyone is doing well. Talk to you soon.

The girls are down at the beach house for a few days. Daddy had to stay home so he could save up his vacation days to be with the new baby in May. I hope to get some nursery stuff knocked out this week. I will post some before and after pics. Here are some influences for the space.

Past Few Months

The family was invited to Sam Glatzer’s 1st b-day party on Sunday 3.15.09. The party was held at GYMBOREE http://www.gymboreeclasses.com/ this was our first time there. What an awesome experience I highly recommend it.

We made it down to the beach for a few days in February. What a great time to be there, no waits and no traffic, however no laying out in the sun because of the temperature…it is a good trade off.

Baby number two has a name. Keeping with the golf theme, her name will be Hagen Jones. We are so looking forward to meeting her, we are not sure how Palmer feels. I asked her the other night if she was looking forward to being a sister and she said “No sissy!!” I hope she was kidding. Hagen is a lot more active than Palmer was. It seems like Christy is getting kicked all of the time and when you put your hand on Christy’s belly Hagen will try to knock it off. We still have ton’s to do to get the nursery ready. I hope everyone is doing well. Spring is in the air and that means Easter and the Masters are right around the corner. This is my favorite time of the year. Get out there and enjoy it.
